เมื่อวันที่ 15 พฤษภาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน ได้นำคณะนาฏศิลป์จากสถาบันบัณฑิตพัฒนศิลป์ กระทรวงวัฒนธรรม ไปแสดงต่อเบื้องหน้า Dame Cindy Kiro ผู้สำเร็จราชการนิวซีแลนด์ และ Dr. Richard Davies คู่สมรส พร้อมกับสมาชิกครอบครัว และเจ้าหน้าที่ ณ ทำเนียบผู้สำเร็จราชการ ในโอกาสเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 70 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย–นิวซีแลนด์ 

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน ได้มอบช้างเบญจรงค์เพื่อแสดงถึงมิตรไมตรีและความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างทั้งสองประเทศด้วย

On 15 May 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington led a cultural dance troupe from the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts under the Ministry of Culture, to perform at the Government House for Her Excellency Dame Cindy Kiro, Governor-General of New Zealand, and Dr. Richard Davies, spouse of the Governor-General, along with their family members and Government House staff, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and New Zealand.

The Ambassador of Thailand to New Zealand also presented a commemorative gift of a Benjarong elephant to the Governor-General, symbolizing the goodwill and close friendship between the two countries.
