เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ
เมื่อวันที่ 12 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ The Right Honourable Winston Peters รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ โดยได้หารือเกี่ยวกับการเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 70 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-นิวซีแลนด์ ซึ่งทั้งสองประเทศจะยกระดับความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีเป็นหุ้นส่วนยุทธศาสตร์ (Strategic Partnership) และโอกาสนี้ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ได้กล่าวถึงการเดินทางเยือนไทยของตนเมื่อช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2568 ด้วย นอกจากนี้ ยังได้หารือเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในด้านต่าง ๆ ระหว่างไทยกับนิวซีแลนด์ทั้งในระดับทวิภาคีและในระดับภูมิภาคเอเชีย-แปซิฟิก
ทั้งนี้ ในวันเดียวกัน รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ได้เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองเพื่อเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 70 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-นิวซีแลนด์ ที่ Grand Hall รัฐสภานิวซีแลนด์ด้วย
The Thai Ambassador paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs
On 12 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to New Zealand, paid a courtesy call on the Right Honourable Winston Peters, Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, on the occasion of His Excellency’s new appointment as the Ambassador of Thailand to New Zealand.
On this occasion, the Ambassador and the Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and New Zealand and the two countries’ vision to elevate their diplomatic ties to the Strategic Partnership. The Minister also reflected on his visit to Thailand in November 2025. Both sides also discussed the promotion of bilateral cooperation and multilateral engagement in the Asia-Pacific region.
Later in the evening, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand also attended the reception celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and New Zealand at the Grand Hall, Parliament House.
