เอกอัครราชทูตเข้าร่วมศึกษาดูงานด้าน Xenotransplantation
เมื่อวันที่ 9 เมษายน 2569 นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน เข้าร่วมเป็นสักขีพยานในการลงนาม Letter of Intent ระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลกับบริษัท NZeno Limited เพื่อกำหนดความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยการปลูกถ่ายอวัยวะข้ามสายพันธุ์ (Xenotransplantation) โดยมีศาสตราจารย์ นายแพทย์ปิยะมิตร ศรีธรา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล พร้อมด้วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. นภเรณู สัจจรักษ์ ธีระฐิติ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสภามหาวิทยาลัย มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สพ.ญ.ศศิธร รุ่งอรุณเลิศ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล รวมถึงข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตเข้าร่วมที่นครโอ๊คแลนด์
ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่ 10 เมษายน 2569 เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และคณะข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตได้เยี่ยมชมบริษัท NZeno Limited เพื่อศึกษาดูงานเกี่ยวกับการความเชี่ยวชาญของบริษัทด้านการปลูกถ่ายอวัยวะข้ามสายพันธุ์ (xenotransplantation) และความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยในสาขาดังกล่าวกับมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลในอนาคต
Ambassador attend the study visit of Xenotransplantation
On 9 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand attended as a witness to the signing ceremony of the Letter of Intent between Mahidol University and NZeno Limited, which is to scope and define research cooperation in the field of xenotransplantation. The signing ceremony was attended by (1) Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP, President of Mahidol University, (2) Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for Global Partnerships and University Council, (3) Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasitorn Rungarunlert, D.V.M., Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, Faculty of Veterinary Science, and the Embassy officials in Auckland.
The Ambassador and the Embassy officials then visited NZeno Limited, on 10 April 2026, and had a discussion with NZeno’s representatives about xenotransplantation and potential future research collaborations between NZeno and Mahidol University.
