เมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๘ ข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน พร้อมด้วยชุมชนไทยในนิวซีแลนด์ ได้ร่วมกิจกรรมจิตอาสาเพื่อสาธารณประโยชน์ ณ องค์กรการกุศล Everybody Eats กรุงเวลลิงตัน โดยช่วยงานต่าง ๆ ในครัว เช่น จัดอาหารใส่จาน ล้างจานและเช็ดจาน และเสิร์ฟอาหารแก่ลูกค้า เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ๒๘ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๘ และเนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ๑๒ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๘ นอกจากนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ยังได้ปรุงเมนูผัดไทยให้รับบริการได้ลิ้มลองรสชาติความอร่อยแบบไทย ๆ ซึ่งถือเป็นกิจกรรมที่ไทยมีส่วนร่วมต่อสังคมนิวซีแลนด์ และเป็นการเผยแพร่อาหารไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักยิ่งขึ้นอีกด้วย

องค์กรการกุศล Everybody Eats เป็นร้านอาหารที่มีแนวคิดเรื่องการช่วยลดปัญหาอาหารเหลือทิ้งจากซูเปอร์มาร์เก็ตแล้วนำมาประกอบเป็นเมนูสามคอร์ส โดยผู้ที่มารับประทานอาหารจะสามารถเลือกชำระค่าอาหารได้ตามความสมัครใจจำนวนเงินเท่าใดก็ได้ หรือไม่ชำระค่าอาหารก็ได้ ทั้งนี้ ร้านอาหารดังกล่าวมีผู้เข้ามาใช้บริการส่วนหนึ่งเป็นผู้ยากไร้ ผู้ถูกโดดเดี่ยวทางสังคม นักศึกษา ตลอดจนบุคคลทั่วไป โดยองค์กร Everybody Eats มีพันธกิจที่จะแก้ไขปัญหาเหล่านี้ในสังคมนิวซีแลนด์

On 22 July 2025, Royal Thai Embassy officers and staff, along with members of the Thai community in New Zealand conducted volunteer service for the public at Everybody Eats restaurant, a charitable organization in Wellington. This activity was held to commemorate the birthday anniversaries of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn on 28 July 2025, and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on 12 August 2025. With a mission to reduce food waste, food poverty, and social isolation, Everybody Eats is a pay-as-you-feel dining concept serving chef-prepared three-course meals for the local community that has been helping to "feed bellies, not bins" since 2019. The Royal Thai Embassy also prepared and served Pad Thai as a special dish for diners to enjoy the taste of authentic Thai cuisine. The event served as an opportunity for the Thai community to contribute to New Zealand society and also as a means of promoting Thai food to New Zealanders.

Everybody Eats is a charity restaurant based on the concept of reducing food waste by using surplus ingredients from supermarkets to prepare three-course meals. Diners can pay any amount they wish or nothing at all. The restaurant serves a diverse group of patrons, including those experiencing hardship, people who may feel socially isolated, students, and the general public.
