เมื่อวันที่ 12 ตุลาคม 2569 เวลา 09.30 น. นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน และนางดั่ง ถิ ทู ฮ่า ภริยา พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ครอบครัว และชุมชนไทยในนิวซีแลนด์ ได้จัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในวัน “นวมินทรมหาราช” เพื่อน้อมรำลึกวันคล้ายวันสวรรคต พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร 13 ตุลาคม 2569 ณ วัดธรรมประทีป กรุงเวลลิงตัน

เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ประธานในพิธี ได้วางพวงมาลา ถวายราชสักการะ และกล่าวคำน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ ผู้เข้าร่วมพิธีได้ร่วมพิธีพระพุทธมนต์และร่วมถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่พระภิกษุสงฆ์ เพื่อถวายราชกุศล โดยมีพระสงฆ์จากวัดธรรมประทีป กรุงเวลลิงตัน และวัดพระธรรมกาย กรุงเวลลิงตัน รวม 4 รูป ร่วมประกอบพิธี

 

พระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศร มหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ทรงครองสิริราชสมบัติยาวนานกว่า 70 ปี ทรงบำเพ็ญพระราชกรณียกิจนานัปการเพื่อความเจริญมั่นคงของชาติ และความผาสุกของพสกนิกร พระเกียรติคุณเป็นที่ประจักษ์และแซ่ซ้องทั้งในประเทศไทยและนานาประเทศ

 

On 12 October 2026, at 0930 hrs., H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand, and Mrs. Dang Thi Thu Ha, spouse, together with Embassy officials, staff, and their families, as well as members of the Thai community in New Zealand, organized a commemorative ceremony to mark "Nawaminthara Maharaj Day," observed on 13 October in remembrance of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, at Wat Dhammaprateep Buddhist Monastery in Wellington.

 

The ambassador presided over the ceremony, laid a wreath, paid tribute to His Majesty, and delivered remarks expressing profound gratitude and remembrance of His Majesty’s gracious benevolence. The ceremony was followed by a merit-making activity, including alms-offering and a luncheon for Buddhist monks. The ceremony was conducted by four monks from Wat Dhammaprateep in Wellington and Wat Phra Dhammakaya Wellington.

 

His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great reigned for over 70 years, dedicating his life to the advancement of the nation and the well-being of the Thai people. His visionary leadership and tireless devotion brought progress, peace, and prosperity, earning the admiration of people in Thailand and across the world.
