เมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน จัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสาบำเพ็ญสาธารณประโยชน์ เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว 28 กรกฎาคม 2569 โดยมีข้าราชการและเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยชุมชนไทย ร่วมกันทำความสะอาดและจัดระเบียบพื้นที่ ณ วัดธรรมประทีป กรุงเวลลิงตัน ได้แก่ ล้างและเช็ดภาชนะเก็บเข้าที่ รดน้ำต้นไม้ ดูดฝุ่น จัดเก็บโต๊ะอุปกรณ์ต่าง ๆ และการจัดระเบียบสิ่งของเข้าที่ให้เรียบร้อย กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ เพื่อทำนุบำรุงศาสนสถานอันเป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจของชาวไทยในนิวซีแลนด์

 

On 24 July 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington organised a volunteer public service activity in honour of His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2026.

 

The Embassy officials and staff, together with members of the Thai community, participated in cleaning and organising Wat Dhammaprateep Buddhist Temple in Wellington. The activities included washing dishes, drying, watering plants, vacuuming, tidying tables and equipment, and arranging the temple's facilities. The activity aimed to help preserve the temple as a spiritual and cultural centre for Thai Buddhists in New Zealand.
