กิจกรรม Thailand – New Zealand Business Roundtable
เมื่อวันที่ 24 มีนาคม 2569 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน และสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการลงทุน ณ นครซิดนีย์ เป็นเจ้าภาพร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรม Thailand – New Zealand Business Roundtable ณ โรงแรม SO/Auckland นครโอ๊คแลนด์ โดยมีผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนชั้นนำของนิวซีแลนด์เข้าร่วม
นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน ได้กล่าวเฉลิมฉลองการครบรอบ 70 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-นิวซีแลนด์ และบรรยายภาพรวมของเศรษฐกิจไทย ตลอดจนโอกาสทางธุรกิจในไทยสำหรับนักลงทุนนิวซีแลนด์ โดยใช้ไทยเป็นฐานในการขยายธุรกิจไปยังประเทศเพื่อนบ้านและในภูมิภาค โอกาสนี้ น.ส. อุษณีย์ ถิ่นเกาะแก้ว ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการลงทุน ณ นครซิดนีย์ ได้บรรยายในรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับศักยภาพของเศรษฐกิจ นโยบายส่งเสริมการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายและบทบาทของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุนในการอำนวยความสะดวกให้ภาคธุรกิจและนักลงทุนนิวซีแลนด์เข้าไปลงทุนและทำธุรกิจในประเทศไทย
จากนั้น เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการลงทุน ได้เข้าร่วมการพบหารือกับภาคธุรกิจนิวซีแลนด์ (1-on-1 business meeting) รวม 2 บริษัท เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับแผนการลงทุนในไทย โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ให้มุมมองเกี่ยวกับนโยบายเศรษฐกิจของรัฐบาลและมุมมองใหม่ ๆ สำหรับการดำเนินธุรกิจและขยายตลาดในประเทศไทย
กิจกรรม Thailand-New Zealand Business Roundtable เป็นหนึ่งในกิจกรรมที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ บูรณาการร่วมกับหน่วยงานทีมประเทศไทยเพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับนิวซีแลนด์ในทุก ๆ มิติ ทั้งภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และภาคประชาชน ในโอกาสการเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 70 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยกับนิวซีแลนด์
Thailand – New Zealand Business Roundtable
On 24 March 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington, together with Thailand Board of Investment – Sydney Office, co-hosted the “Thailand-New Zealand Business Roundtable” at SO/Auckland hotel in Auckland. The event was attended by representatives from New Zealand government agencies and leading private sectors.
On this occasion, Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand, delivered remarks celebrating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and New Zealand. The Ambassador-Designate also provided an overview of Thailand’s economy, as well as opportunities for New Zealand businesses and investors to invest in Thailand and utilize Thailand as a springboard for market expansion into neighboring countries and the region.
The Director of Thailand Board of Investment – Sydney Office also provided a detailed presentation on Thailand’s economic potential, investment promotion in the target industries, and the role of the Board of Investment (BOI) in facilitating New Zealand companies and investors to open businesses in Thailand.
Following the event, the Ambassador-Designate and the Director participated in 1-on-1 business meeting with two New Zealand companies to discuss their investment projects in Thailand. The Ambassador-Designate shared perspectives on government economic policies and new perspectives on business opportunities and market expansion in Thailand.
The Thailand – New Zealand Business Roundtable is one of the activities organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration with Team Thailand to promote Thailand–New Zealand relations across government, private sector, and people-to-people dimensions, as part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
