เมื่อวันที่ 28 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน และภริยาเป็นเจ้าภาพการหารือระหว่างอาหารค่ำแก่ H.E. Mr. Jonathan Dale Kings อดีตเอกอัครราชทูตนิวซีแลนด์ประจำประเทศไทย ในโอกาสแนะนำตัวเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ของเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน และโอกาสครบวาระการดำรงตำแหน่งของอดีตเอกอัครราชทูตนิวซีแลนด์ฯ
เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน กล่าวชื่นชมบทบาทของอดีตเอกอัครราชทูตนิวซีแลนด์ฯ ในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีไทย-นิวซีแลนด์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรมในหลากหลายด้าน และแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับแนวทางผลักดันความร่วมมือในอนาคต เช่น ด้านเศรษฐกิจ การศึกษา การแพทย์ นอกจากนี้ ยังได้หารือเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือในระดับภูมิภาคและเวทีพหุภาคี เช่น อนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง กรอบอาเซียน และภูมิภาคเอเชีย-แปซิฟิกด้วย
Ambassador of Thailand meets with the former Ambassador of New Zealand
On 28 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, the Ambassador of Thailand to New Zealand and his wife hosted a working dinner for H.E. Mr. Jonathan Dale Kings, the former Ambassador of New Zealand to Thailand, on the occasion of the new appointment of the Thai Ambassador, and the completion of duty of the former New Zealand Ambassador.
The Thai Ambassador expressed appreciation for the former New Zealand Ambassador’s important role in promoting Thailand-New Zealand relations. They discussed future cooperation in such areas as the economy, education, and medicine to advance Thailand and New Zealand relations. Both sides also exchanged views on promoting cooperation in regional and multilateral frameworks, such as the Mekong subregion, ASEAN, and the Asia-Pacific.
