Working Holiday Visa
Criteria
1 New Zealand national currently residing in New Zealand
2 18 – 30 years of age
3 Completed tertiary education with at least 3 years full-time study
4 New Zealand passport with at least 12 months validity
5 Return air ticket to Thailand or sufficient funds to purchase the ticket
6 Possess at least NZ$ 7,000 for living expenses while in Thailand
7 Be in good health and have medical and comprehensive health insurance for duration of stay

Required documents
1 Certificate or transcript of tertiary education
2 Passport (valid for at least 12 months)
3 Bank statement or evidence of sufficient funds (at least NZ$ 7,000)
4 Chest X – ray and medical certificate no more than 3 months old
5 4 recent passport sized photos
6 Visa fee NZ$ 300 (payment by cash or bank transfer)
7 pre-paid courier envelope for return of your passport and visa
Processing time will take about 1 - 2 months
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If granted, holder of working holiday visa may stay for up to 12 months, and may work
but not for any one employer for longer than 3 months. Visa will be valid for 3 months from
date of issue. Visa Holders will be subject to personal income tax on any earnings in Thailand.
