สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน พร้อมด้วยชุมชนชาวไทยในนิวซีแลนด์ ขอร่วมถวายความอาลัยต่อการเสด็จสวรรคตของกษัตริย์เมารีตูเฮเตีย (Tūheitia Pōtatau Te Wherowhero VII) ซึ่งตลอดระยะเวลาที่ทรงครองราชย์ ๑๘ ปี (ค.ศ.๒๕๔๓-๒๕๖๗) ได้ทรงปฏิบัติพระราชกรณียกิจนานัปประการเพื่อความรุ่งเรืองและความผาสุกของพสกนิกรชาวเมารี รวมทั้งเพื่อความมั่งคั่งทางเศรษฐกิจของประเทศนิวซีแลนด์
The Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai community in New Zealand express our deepest sorrow for the passing of His Majesty King Tūheitia Pōtatau Te Wherowhero VII. During His 18 years of Reign (2006-2024), His Majesty dedicated much of his time for the well-being of his subjects as well as playing important roles for the economic prosperity of New Zealand. His legacy shall live on as an important figure with great dignity and strong belief in his people throughout his reign.
