เมื่อวันที่ ๒ กันยายน ๒๕๖๘ นายวราวุธ ภู่อภิญญา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน และข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้เข้าร่วมการอบรมหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารระหว่างประเทศชั้นสูง (Advanced Oral Communication Course: AOCC) รุ่นที่ ๑๙ ประจำปี ๒๕๖๘ ซึ่งประกอบด้วยข้าราชการจากหน่วยราชการต่าง ๆ และพนักงานรัฐวิสาหกิจ จำนวน ๑๓ คน ณ ที่ทำการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ 

การฝึกอบรมหลักสูตรดังกล่าว จัดขึ้นโดยสถาบันการต่างประเทศเทวะวงศ์วโรปการ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ มีกำหนดฝึกอบรมด้านการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ ระหว่างวันที่ ๓๐ สิงหาคม – ๑๔ กันยายน ๒๕๖๘ ณ Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) กรุงเวลลิงตัน เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการสื่อสารด้วยภาษาอังกฤษของผู้เข้าร่วม            

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้บรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับภาพรวมความสัมพันธ์ไทย - นิวซีแลนด์ บทบาทของนิวซีแลนด์ในเวทีระหว่างประเทศ และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับประเทศหมู่เกาะแปซิฟิกที่อยู่ในเขตอาณาของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ รวมถึงบทบาทการดำเนินโครงการและกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ที่มุ่งส่งเสริมและผลักดันความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย-นิวซีแลนด์ ในระดับต่าง ๆ ตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล เช่น การส่งเสริม Soft Power ความร่วมมือด้านนวัตกรรมการเกษตร สาธารณสุข และความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา เป็นต้น

On 2 September 2025, Ambassador Waravuth Pouapinya, along with the Embassy staff, welcomed the Thai delegation from various government agencies who attend the 19th Advanced English Oral Communication Course (AOCC), at the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington. 

The AOCC course is organized by the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, with training scheduled during 30 August - 14 September 2025 at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), to increase English language proficiency for participants.

The Ambassador briefed the delegates on the overview of Thailand - New Zealand relations, New Zealand's international relations, as well as relations between Thailand and the Pacific islands countries under the jurisdiction of the Royal Thai Embassy. The briefing included topics on the implementation of various projects and activities by the Embassy that aim to promote and enhance cooperation between Thailand and New Zealand at various levels through such policies as promotion of Soft Power, agricultural innovation, and health and education cooperation.
