ได้เยือนนิวซีแลนด์ระหว่างวันที่ ๙-๑๕ มิถุนายน ๒๕๖๗

คณะผู้บริหารระดับสูงจากกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ ได้เยือนนิวซีแลนด์ระหว่างวันที่ ๙-๑๕ มิถุนายน ๒๕๖๗ ตามคำเชิญของผู้จัดงาน Fielddays เพื่อศึกษาดูงานด้านนวัตกรรมการเกษตร ที่จะสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้กับภาคเกษตรของไทยในสาขาต่าง ๆ โดยได้รับฟังการบรรยายสรุปภาพรวมของเศรษฐกิจและภาคเกษตรของนิวซีแลนด์ ณ บริษัท Forsyth Barr ลงพื้นที่ดูงานเทคโนโลยีของบริษัทฟาร์มผลิตนมแพะ New Image Group บริษัทโคนม Oakville บริษัทผลิตอากาศยานขนาดเล็ก NZAero และศึกษาอุตสาหกรรมการปลูกและผลิตชาของไร่ชา Zealong Tea Estate รวมถึงพบหารือกับข้าราชการระดับสูงของกระทรวงเกษตรนิวซีแลนด์ และเยี่ยมชมบูธที่เกี่ยวข้องในงาน Fieldays 2024 ณ เมืองแฮมิลตัน ซึ่งเป็นงานแสดงสินค้าและนวัตกรรมเกษตรที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในซีกโลกใต้

การเยือนนิวซีแลนด์ของคณะเป็นประโยชน์อย่างมากในการสร้างเครือข่ายความสัมพันธ์กับภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนของนิวซีแลนด์ อันจะต่อยอดไปสู่ความร่วมมืออย่างเป็นรูปธรรมระหว่างไทยและนิวซีแลนด์ในด้านการเกษตรและการขยายการค้าการลงทุนตามวิสัยทัศน์ของรัฐบาลทั้งสองประเทศต่อไป

ในการนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ขอขอบคุณสมาคมธุรกิจไทย - นิวซีแลนด์ (NZTBA) กระทรวงเกษตรนิวซีแลนด์ และบริษัทต่าง ๆ ของนิวซีแลนด์ ที่ได้ช่วยประสานงานและจัดการศึกษาดูงานให้แก่คณะเป็นอย่างดี ส่งผลให้การเยือนของคณะเกิดประโยชน์และประสบความสำเร็จด้วยดี

During 9 - 15 June 2024, a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand visited New Zealand at the invitation of Fielddays to learn about New Zealand's agricultural innovations and best practices with a view to apply New Zealand agritech to Thailand's agricultural sector. The delegation was briefed on New Zealand's economic and agriculture overview by New Zealand Ministers concerned and Forsyth Barr company, and made site visits to learn about technological innovations at New Image Group goat farm, Oakville dairy farm, NZAero aircraft manufacturer, and Zealong Tea Estate plantation. The delegation also met with senior officials of the Ministry of Primary Industries and visited relevant booths at Fieldays 2024 in Hamilton, which is the southern hemisphere's largest agricultural exhibition.

The visit was beneficial for networking with both the public and private sectors of New Zealand, which will lead to further collaboration on agritech, as well as increase trade and investment between both sides, in line with the policies of both governments.

To this end, the Embassy wishes to express gratitude to the New Zealand -Thailand Business Association (NZTBA), the Ministry of Primary Industries, and the New Zealand companies for coordinating and hosting the delegation, contributing to their fruitful and successful visit.
