เมื่อวันที่ 25 มีนาคม 2569 นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ต้อนรับ Dr. Stephen Rainbow ตำแหน่ง Chief Human Rights Commissioner แห่งประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ ซึ่งเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะเพื่อแนะนำตัว
ในโอกาสที่เอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้ารับหน้าที่ในประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ โดยได้หารือเกี่ยวกับบทบาทด้านการส่งเสริมสิทธิมนุษยชนของไทย ซึ่ง Dr. Rainbow ได้กล่าวถึงบทบาทที่แข็งขันของไทยในภูมิภาค และพร้อมที่จะทำงานร่วมกับไทยอย่างใกล้ชิด
Chief Human Rights Commissioner paid a courtesy call on the Thai Ambassador
On 25 March 2026, Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand, received a courtesy call from Dr. Stephen Rainbow, Chief Human Rights Commissioner of New Zealand, on the occasion of his assumption of office in New Zealand.
The Ambassador-Designate and the Chief Human Rights Commissioner exchanged views on potential collaboration between the Human Rights Commission and Thailand. Dr. Rainbow acknowledged Thailand’s proactive role in the promotion of human rights in the region and expressed readiness to work closely with Thailand.
