เมื่อวันที่ 2 กันยายน 2569 นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน และนางดั่ง ถิ ทู ฮ่า ภริยา พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ และเจ้าหน้าที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เดินทางไปกราบนมัสการ คณะสงฆ์ และร่วมถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่พระสงฆ์ รวมทั้งพบปะชุมชนไทย ณ วัดปากน้ำนิวซีแลนด์ เมือง Tauranga

ในการเยือนครั้งนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้แนะนำตัวและทำความรู้จักกับชุมชนไทย พร้อมทั้งเป็นโอกาสให้สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เสริมสร้างความใกล้ชิดและประชาสัมพันธ์ช่องทางการติดต่อเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกและให้บริการด้านกงสุลแก่ชาวไทยในเมือง Tauranga 

On 2 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand, and Mrs. Dang Thi Thu Ha, spouse, together with officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington, paid their respects to the monastic community and offered food to the monks at Wat Paknam in Tauranga, New Zealand. The delegation also met with members of the Thai community in Tauranga.

The visit aimed to introduce the Ambassador, strengthen connections with the Thai community, and enhance the Embassy’s engagement with Thais in Tauranga. The Embassy also shared information on its contact channels and consular services.
