เมื่อวันที่ 18 มีนาคม 2569 นางกรรณมน เสนาณรงค์ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา เป็นผู้แทนเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองเพื่อต้อนรับนายมาร์ก บราวน์ นายกรัฐมนตรีแห่งหมู่เกาะคุก พร้อมด้วยนางเอลิซาเบธ ไรท์-โคเทกา รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและตรวจคนเข้าเมืองแห่งหมู่เกาะคุก อดีตข้าหลวงใหญ่หมู่เกาะคุกประจำนิวซีแลนด์ ในโอกาสเยือนนิวซีแลนด์อย่างเป็นทางการ
ในโอกาสนี้ นายบราวน์ได้กล่าวสุนทรพจน์ถึงความก้าวหน้าของประเทศนับตั้งแต่การปกครองตนเองภายใต้ความสัมพันธ์แบบรัฐสมทบกับนิวซีแลนด์ เป็นเวลากว่า 60 ปี พร้อมเน้นย้ำความสำเร็จด้านการบริหารงาน การกำหนดอนาคตของชาติ และการมีบทบาทอย่างแข็งขันในเวทีระหว่างประเทศ นอกจากนี้ นายบราวน์ยังได้ร่วมแบ่งปันวิสัยทัศน์ที่มุ่งเน้นความเข้มแข็งทางเศรษฐกิจ และการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน เพื่อความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของประชาชน
On 18 March 2026, Mrs. Kanamon Senanarong, Minister-Counsellor, represented the Thai Ambassador-designate at a reception honoring Hon. Mark Brown, Prime Minister of the Cook Islands, and Ms. Elizabeth Wright-Koteka, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration (and former High Commissioner of the Cook Islands to New Zealand) on their official visit to New Zealand.
During the event, Prime Minister Brown delivered a speech reflecting on 60 years of progress since the Cook Islands attained self-government in free association with New Zealand. He highlighted the nation’s achievements in governance, its capacity to shape its own future, and its increasingly active role on the international stage. Furthermore, the Prime Minister shared a vision focused on economic resilience and sustainable development to ensure the continued well-being of the Cook Islands people.
