เมื่อวันที่ ๓๑ มกราคม ๒๕๖๙ นางกรรณมน เสนาณรงค์ อุปทูตฯ พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่ และครอบครัวสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และชุมชนไทยในนิวซีแลนด์กว่า ๖๐ คน เข้าร่วมพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศล ครบ ๑๐๐ วัน (สตมวาร) แห่งการสวรรคต เพื่ออุทิศถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่ สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ณ วัดธรรมประทีป กรุงเวลลิงตัน นิวซีแลนด์
พิธีประกอบด้วยการเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ สวดพระปริตร ทอดผ้าไตรสดับปกรณ์ ถวายจตุปัจจัยไทยธรรม กรวดน้ำรับพร และถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่พระภิกษุสงฆ์จากวัดป่าโคเปนเฮเกน วัดญาณประทีป นคาโอ๊คแลนด์ วัดธรรมประทีป กรุงเวลลิงตัน และวัดพระธรรมกาย กรุงเวลลิงตัน รวมจำนวน ๕ รูป
ภายหลังเสร็จพิธี สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ จัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสาบำเพ็ญสาธารณประโยชน์และสาธารณกุศล เนื่องในโอกาสครบ ๑๐๐ วัน (สตมวาร) แห่งการสวรรคตของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ด้วยการร่วมกันทำความสะอาดและจัดระเบียบพื้นที่วัดธรรมประทีป อาทิ ล้างภาชนะ เก็บขยะ จัดเก็บโต๊ะอุปกรณ์ต่าง ๆ เพื่อทำนุบำรุงศาสนสถานอันเป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจของชาวไทยในนิวซีแลนด์
On 31 January 2026, Mrs. Kanamon Senanarong, Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., of the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington, together with Embassy officials, staff, their families, and more than sixty members of the Thai community in New Zealand, attended a merit-making ceremony at Wat Dhammaprateep in Wellington to dedicate merit on the occasion of the one hundred days following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand.
The ceremony was conducted in the presence of five monks from Watpa Cophenhegen in Denmark, Wat Yarnprateep Buddhist Temple in Auckland, Wat Dhammaprateep in Wellington, and Wat Phra Dhammakaya in Wellington.
The programme included Buddhist chanting, the recitation of protective verses, the presentation of robes, the offering of requisites, water-pouring merit dedication, and the offering of meals to the monks, all respectfully dedicated as royal merit to Her Majesty.
Following the ceremony, the Royal Thai Embassy in Wellington organised a volunteer activity to honour the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother of Thailand.
Embassy officials and staff, together with members of the Thai community in Wellington, helped clean and organise Wat Dhammaprateep including dishwashing, waste collection, and arranging facilities. The activity aimed to support the temple’s role as a spiritual and cultural centre for Thai Buddhists in New Zealand.
