เมื่อวันที่ 25 กันยายน 2569 สมาคมคู่สมรสนักการทูตประจำกรุงเวลลิงตัน (The Diplomatic Spouses Association, Wellington – DSA) ได้จัดกิจกรรม “A Thai Cultural Experience: DSA Coffee Morning”ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน โดยมีนางดั่ง ถิ ทู ฮ่า ภริยาเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เป็นเจ้าภาพ มีคู่สมรสเอกอัครราชทูตฯ จาก 24 ประเทศเข้าร่วม 

การจัดงานครั้งนี้ เป็นโอกาสในการแนะนำตัวสมาชิกใหม่ของสมาคมฯ โดยผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้ร่วมรับประทานอาหารกลางวันร่วมกัน ตลอดจนได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ที่มีส่วนช่วยส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์อันดีและสนับสนุนภารกิจด้านการทูต ซึ่งได้สร้างความสนใจและเป็นที่ประทับใจของคู่สมรสนักการทูตที่ประจำการที่นิวซีแลนด์เป็นอย่างมาก

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วย การแสดงศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทย อาทิ การแสดงนาฏศิลป์ไทยจากนักเรียนไทยในกรุงเวลลิงตัน การสาธิตการทำผัดไทยกุ้งสด และการแกะสลักผักผลไม้ โดยคุณสุวรรณา ชะโยลา (เชฟโบว์) ถือเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการเผยแพร่ศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทยเพื่อเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่าง DSA กับคู่สมรสคณะทูตที่ประจำการที่นิวซีแลนด์ให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์และส่งเสริมการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสานสัมพันธไมตรีรวมถึงการสนับสนุนภารกิจด้านการทูตระหว่างกันต่อไป 

On 25 September 2026, the Diplomatic Spouses Association, Wellington (DSA) organised “A Thai Cultural Experience: DSA Coffee Morning” at the Residence of the Ambassador of Thailand in Wellington. The event was hosted by Mrs. Dang Thi Thu Ha, spouse of the Ambassador, and attended by spouses of Ambassadors from 24 countries.

The event also provided an opportunity to welcome and introduce new members of the Association. Participants enjoyed lunch together and exchanged experiences and perspectives, contributing to closer relations among members and supporting the wider diplomatic community. The event generated considerable interest and was warmly received by diplomatic spouses based in New Zealand.

The programme featured a range of Thai cultural activities, including a traditional Thai dance performance by Thai students in Wellington, a demonstration of how to prepare Pad Thai with prawns, and a Thai fruit and vegetable carving demonstration by Ms. Suwanna Chayola (Chef Bow).

The event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Thai arts and culture while further strengthening relations and cooperation between the DSA and spouses of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to New Zealand. It also served as a platform for exchanging experiences, fostering friendship, and encouraging future activities that contribute to closer ties and mutual support for diplomatic missions.
