เมื่อวันที่ 27 มีนาคม 2569 นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ต้อนรับนาย Istiaque Ahmed รักษาการข้าหลวงใหญ่บังกลาเทศ พร้อมด้วยคู่สมรส และเจ้าหน้าที่สำนักงานข้าหลวงใหญ่ ซึ่งเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะเพื่อแนะนำตัว ในโอกาสที่เอกอัครราชทูตฯ เข้ารับหน้าที่ในประเทศนิวซีแลนด์
โอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ และรักษาการข้าหลวงใหญ่ฯ ได้สนทนาเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับบังกลาเทศ และความร่วมมือในภูมิภาคและเวทีพหุภาคี เช่น ASEAN และ BIMSTEC รวมถึงแลกเปลี่ยนทัศนะและโอกาสการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ร่วมกันระหว่างชุมชนไทยและชุมชนบังกลาเทศในนิวซีแลนด์
Acting High Commissioner of Bangladesh paid a courtesy call on the Thai Ambassador
On 27 March 2026, Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand, welcomed Mr. Istiaque Ahmed, Acting High Commissioner of Bangladesh, together with his spouse and official from the High Commission, on the occasion of the Ambassador’s assumption of office in New Zealand.
On this occasion, the Ambassador-Designate and the Acting High Commissioner discussed relations between Thailand and Bangladesh, as well as potential areas of cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral fora, including ASEAN and BIMSTEC. They also exchanged views of the opportunities for Thai and Bangladesh communities in New Zealand to support one another in fostering closer ties between the two communities.
